It's time to Laugh...

     Sorry Dear Readers but I have been busy with yard work around the WAYWARD INN and other assorted tasks.   It would seem to my LOBSTER that I am writing this blog under the guise of being aware of what I am doing. I beg to differ. I rarely know what I am doing until I'm about to doing. More about that later.

     Loin Fruit #2 and I headed out to a lake north of River City. Its a nice place. Well kept camp sites and a half decent boat launch. Between the two of us we caught twenty cutthroat trout. Released them all. But it was sure fun tenting with my son. Hopefully we can do it again later this summer.

     I heard on the radio (CBC RADIO ONE) that a house on 1st Street in Courtenay blew up over the weekend. Supposedly,  three males were severely injured and were seen running from the scene. Drug lab? Something's up as the local constabulary has a warrant to search the property for evidence. Evidence of...

     So, with school soon to be ending and with no full time summer employment in my Senior Couch Monkey's future it will be my goal to ensure that last summer's debacle is not repeated. The list of chores and assigned tasks will be long. There will not be a repeat of the seven hours of gaming/television watching/slacking off that occurred last summer.

     Have you heard of a program called "Brooklyn 99"? Loin Fruit #1 and his "Squeeze" (yes, this will be something for further discussions) were watching this on Netflix. It sounded kinda spoofy to me. One character, a detective, described himself first as an Ebony Falcon and then an Ebony Gazelle. I applied that myself stating that I was a "Pasty Armadillo" which resulted in a host of giggles between the two of us.
