How do you spell "Enjoyment"?

I don't know what you're doing right now but I am reclining, sort of because my feet are up, on the back deck of the Wayward Inn. My Lobster is inside sorting out an issue - that I would personally love to tackle but won't. The Oma is watching The Young & The Restless - probably the longest running soap operas in the world. Loin Fruit #2 is engrossed in his new Nat George magazine and the other one...well he just got out of the shower. Pretty normal day.

Chef Blaine made some pizza dough for some homemade pizzas. Of course, The Oma will have no onions, olives, peppers or anything good on her pizza. Well, to each their own. Mine will be be a delicate balance to delight the palate. Yeah right! It will be loaded with nitrate laden carcinogenic meats and colon blocking cheeses with a couple of symbolic veggies tossed in to keep the Missus happy.

There will be a new addition to the Shoe Fence at the Wayward Inn.  Oma doesn't know it yet but she is donating a pair of get well worn never fit her in the first place shoes. They'll be bolted to the fence next to Opa's as if they were walking together. Nice thought isn't it?

Well a road trip to the Coombs Country Junction was fast and furious. Some necessary but overpriced items were purchased. Now we are back at the Wayward Inn where The Oma is watching the machinations of her soap opera. My Lobster noted that one never sees a lot of LGBT individuals on a soap opera. Yup. In keeping with North Carolina's values its pretty much white bread.

If you have a senior loved one please take the time to have them write out all of their contact info. Accounts, insurance,  all of it. In fact, you should do the same thing for your loved ones. The goal is to not leave an administrative mess for your survivors.

Well, the weather is turning particularly nasty. Not as ugly as how things have been in our Nation's Capital of late. But even there the weather is getting better which is good as The Oma is leaving tomorrow at Oh Dark 30. The visit has been great. Nearly 50 games of Trouble have been played.

THIS JUST IN....

I just saw a clip on the news where someone, First Nations I believe, was talking about the under funding of First Nations. This is in response to the large number of people have attempted to commit suicide on the Attiwapiskat Reserve in Northern Ontario. Now, just hold on a second. The previous federal government had brought in a means of verifying where funds given to First Nations where being spent. This was an attempt to find out where the tax payers dollars were going because no matter how much we gave them it was never enough and planned projects weren't getting built. Good idea because every year the Band Chiefs and their relatives were getting new trucks, snowmobiles, quads, etc while kids were going to school with ratty clothes.

     Where'd the money go?
I dunno? But, can I have some more?

So, we made them accountable and the Justin the Pacifier has reversed that law so Canada's First Nations can continue squandering monies they have not earned on shit they don't need and all the while screaming that they aren't being treated fairly. This situation is really starting to piss me off. As much as I dislike the Tories I think that they were on the right track and it will sometime before the Liberals realize their mistake.
