A real mixed bag...

What a day.
One that should have been half way predictable but it wasn't.
I finished off a part time contact position. Until the system fails again at which point I will be recalled to back fill the system again. No problem really as the job is simple, it pays well and I can work it around my other employment.

Got home and tried to catch up on the incoming emails. Only 140 new unanswered messages of which only a dozen may really be important. One if those came in from the organizer of this years BFRO (BIGFOOT FIELD RESEARCHERS ORGANIZATION) expedition. Due to an unforseen circumstance the location was altered. So, new directions and a new map. In a couple of weeks, I'll be tenting out in the woods for a fortnight with a bunch of other investigators, and some NEWBIES too. What fun we will be having staying up all nightwalking logging roads using thermal imagers and bionic ears in the hope to record some evidence proving their (sasquatch) existence.

Laugh if you want room But, I have been doing this since 2005. I have seen three. The largest was here on the Island. I have been an investigator with the BFRO since 2006. Most recently I have completed writing a book on my experiences. Entitled, Woodknocks and Tossed Rocks, it covers my first three expeditions and what being a BFRO investigator I'd all about.

It should be available through AMAZON in about a week or so.

Maybe I'll post a partial chapter to entice you.

Then there is # 1 Son. You never know if it is going to be a good day or a shitty one. On a good day the sun just shines all around him and on a bad day it is like he is the center of a black hole that sucks in all the light and life around him.

Another bad note. Property taxes came in. Wholly crap. For that amount of cash I should have a gold plated cop at my beck and call. Thanks for nothing.

Tomorrow's another day.
Maybe my book sales will cover my property taxes.
I hope so.
BUY MY BOOK !!!
