There is something to be said about the daily horoscope.
I don't really put much stock in it but just for shits and giggles I read mine this morning in the National Post.
I'm a Gemini. It said that for today I should be aware of dealings with persons in authourity, people in public office and the police.
Wholly crap! A Triple Header.

Right of the bat I had a message to report to my supervisors office for a "little chat and to touch base". As I walked into the office I wondered how big the fire would be and how long my feet would be held over it. An hour or so later I was back on the road.  Surprisingly all was good.

Two hours later I received a return call from my local MLA (the person in public office). I had contacted him a week ago to raise concerns about a group, THE ATMOSPHERE,  wanting to use the Camp Gilwell Scout Camp as a venue for a quasi music fest. Bad idea as the festivals associated with this group has, in the past, resulted in a lot of hard drug use. Something I really don't want to see at the camp as I really don't want some cub scout to OD on what looks like a jelly bean found some time later on. Believe me when I say that I expressed my position to him.

This evening I was gone to an evening meeting. As I walked in the door on my return, my wife informed me that my work phone, which I had forgotten to take with me, had just finished ringing. You guessed it. The RCMP! Nothing serious really. I was called out to assist them with a canine matter.
