We said goodbye to our Japanese students this morning. They awoke bleary eyed (nothing new there) and ate their breakfast in silence. I had made pancakes with real whipped cream and back bacon. I don't know if its a cultural thing where the meal is done in quiet meditation while seeking some inner guidance for the day or is because they are sleep eating which, like sleep walking, is an action done without the individuals knowledge.
With two gone there is now room in the WAYWARD INN for the Actor and Loin Fruit #2 to move into their respective rooms. Of course, this required the bed clothes from the outgoing to be laundered for the benefit of the incoming.
There was a final farewell function held at the BETTER HALF's boss's campsite. Great food, company and libations. Even better was the fact that George was back for another short visit. He's a great guy and so we took him back to the WAYWARD INN to watch the BC LIONS overcome the HAMILTON TiCats.
We're still in a period of adjustment what with all those who see coming and going. At the beginning of September my Outlaws are coming to visit and they may be followed by a pair of Italian Exchange Students, that is if the teachers strike ends before September.
Is everyone this busy?
