Work!
That's all there is folks. Now, some people hate their jobs while others revell in it. I say if your doing a job and there is no joy, satisfaction or sense of accomplishment then pack your bags and move on. Regardless of the pay or benefits, if you're not happy in your job you're going to be miserable and that misery will eventually makes its way home to ruin you're household. MARK MY WORDS!
Some are lucky in their jobs. One of my cousins out on the Lone Prairie is married to a guy who gets to play with toys in the sandbox all day long and get paid for it. As a heavy equipment operator he has one of the best jobs I can imagine. Sure, you get dirty and stuff but hell you could be paid to fill up a truck with dirt, drive some place and then dump it. How cool is that? Or an even better job would be the guy driving the loader that fills the truck up. Frickin Awesome! I'm almost envious.
Some people have a great job and then a change of personnel turns it into a crappy job. If that's the case then I would say the job was not the reason you were working there in the first place. Am I right? I think I am.
And besides, there is no job in the world that has only good days. No matter where you work there will be shitty days. So, if you are to survive in the workplace you had better to learn, adapt and overcome.
Last night my BETTER HALF took both Loin Fruits, the Actor, Ivan and his Mom to the Drive In out at the Saratoga Speedway. It was a double feature movie night charity fundraiser. The movie screen was an inflatable unit some 30 x 50 feet. The movies shown were the Lego Movie and the new Godzilla. Wish I had been there. From all indications the movies were great and the boys went through the smuggled junk food like a plague of locusts.
Tonight we cooked a special meal gor the Actor as it was his birthday the other day. He and Loin Fruit #2 are going to camp out at a mutual friends place. Its an end of summer sleep over. I'm pretty sure that the girls will be inside the house while the guys will be in the tent. Let's hope.
